Invention of the video camera FTW! Art if you would be so kind to post that video up if you still have it. If you would like I could always throw the ported blower that I have sitting around with a 10lb pulley and get a c'une and tow you into the 13's.

As for the union, I could care less. I'm in an industry where the majority is non union......really? lol....so you go down to local 357s hall and do theres huh? id whoop your ass just for saying that! dont go there. anyways..oh, so who chose for you to be non union? hell, i wish "unions" meaning handfuls of people in these unions werent so ummm....well...almost gang like lol. but we all will do whats needed to survive, to support...if union work, pay, benefits work for some, awesome...if theres work else where, then why not. theres the small saying...lets stick together...well, thats the way it it when you got union and non union workers together...hell, even just meeting someone for the first time, and find out each others trade...then its like you dont even want to say if your union or non union cuz you might affend someone. all i know, if i was workin at a manufacturing company for say.....ford...they have unions...i would be a pround member just cuz i know we are building great vehicles for our country.

I installed 357s burg system and serviced it a few times

Bro, unless you were union with the 357 for a day, I know for a fact you didn't install or service those systems. My buddy is an electrician, he worked for Mojave Electric who installed those systems, and knows the guys who installed them. Also Bombard Electric is doing those systems for the new 357 hall. What company do you work for and on what dates did you install or service these systems for the 357?

357 has the building off of Leigon and bonanza correct? Because if thats the case, I installed the Napco panel (I believe it has a Gem 9600) while I was still working for Alarmco. Seeings how Mojave Electric does do union work, they may have done work there, but they would have never installed the burg system (especially this panel since I know the only person over there that knows how to program this panel was Dan Treasure, and Dan was still working for Alarmco when this was done). Second neither Mojave or Bombard monitor alarms systems, so how can they install a burg system. They were most likely used to run conduit and what not, but the burg companies (i.e. ADT, Stanley Security, Alarmco, etc.) still has to come in and get the systems installed properly and running. And alarm companies don't allow anybody but their own people to program these panels.

Bro, the majority of the work IS running conduit and wires. All the security equipement comes manufactured (cameras, motion detectors, magnetic sensors, key pads., ect.,) and while some security companies require their techs to be present during installation of certain security equipment, it's to supervise for warranty purposes. I'm telling you bro, electricians of all the trades are the most vicious when it comes to union/non-union work. You would not be alive today if you walked into the 357 to do any kind of electrical work on their hall as a non-union tech. If you were there, you watched someone install for warranty. The only way the 357 would allow a non-union tech to do work on their hall is if it was warranty work. Why pay for it when you can get it free. Any company can be contracted by ADT, Alarmco, or any other monitoring company to do install. Mojave doesn't have to monitor the system to do install, and neither does Bombard.

I love my union! If I were to go out and work non union doing the same stuff I would make 15 bucks an hour less!

I hated unions just because of the stories i heard, but until I became union I didnt understand it! I wish I would have went union sooner. I do know that without unions everyones wages would be lower and you would be treated very differently at work!

Oh and I have an 06 f150 and love it! I test drove the titan before i bought my truck and got a better deal on the f150. Also didnt like the fact that the titans had brake problems!

I'm not sure what you mean about burg systems, but these systems are not plug and play. They have to go through extensive programming in order to work and I've never allowed Mohave to program equipment. You need to understand burg installer/service technicians are not electricians. We do something entirely different. And once again, there is NO burg company in las Vegas that is union. I have installed or serviced 95 percent of the union halls in las Vegas including 357. The last time I had to service 357 was about 3 years ago (when I was still working for Alarmco) for a low battery on a wireless transmitter.

Well I just got off the phone with the service manager for Alarmco and guess what? They have the 357 account with the full history of every service call performed by an Alarmco employee. Most of the calls have been for low batteries on transmitters. So I'm not sure what to tell you.

It's like a chune but not quite as good as a NRP chune. Hence the lack of sophistication and it's unpopularity amongst chuners. nonono.gif
